12/7/03 Gerry had a CAT SCAN on Nov 26 which shows some small lymph nodes in the chest area, but they are diminished and improved over a month ago. Good news! She had a PET SCAN on Dec 2 which came back "negative" = GOOD NEWS!

The doctor gave us the option of stopping the chemo now (prior to #7 and #8) After a discussion with him, we decided to continue to be safe. She had #7 on Dec 4 and will have #8 on Dec 23. We anticipate that she will be back to a more normal schedule by Feb 1 if all goes well.

Then the Dr will run CAT and PET SCANs at the three months and six months points to see if it is in total remission. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!
